Labmaq is the official representative in Brazil and most of South America for CMT Atomizers, an independent company that is the world's leading producer of high-performance rotary atomizers for spray drying applications in the dairy and food, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries.
Since the founding of CMT, more than 700 units have been introduced to industries all over the world and today they offer their customers completely new atomizers and in-house design, replacement atomizers for all renowned brands, parts and advice for upgrading atomizers and performance improvement and spare parts for all atomization system parts of all brands in the market. The portfolio is extended by a series of rotary valves specifically for the powder processing industries and a range of CIP nozzles that are designed with extensive rotary disc know-how.
CMT Atomizers are designed based on 7 fundamentals:

- Correct dispensing configuration, designed according to the product specification, in order to avoid vibrations, deposits, clogging or undesirable dark particles in the final product;
- Flexibility, as the rotary atomizer must be able to handle a wide range of products and have controllable operations to produce any type of powder desired.

Custom Atomizers (Taylor Made)
CMT specializes in custom atomizers designed to the customer's specific requirements and their existing Spray Dryer system. It does not matter which atomizer the customer has, which brand and which size, the atomizer is manufactured with the same external dimensions and shape as the existing one, in order to be interchangeable, without any modification being necessary in the spray chamber and in the disperser of air where the atomizer fits.
It is exclusively produced to manufacture atomizers to replace the most popular “GEA Niro” models, as well as other brands such as Alfa Laval, Bowen, CNIM, Drytec, Krauss Maffei, Lurgi, Okawara, Paasch & Silkeborg, SPX-Anhydro and Stork.
Oil Free Atomizers
CMT Atomizers invested a great deal of resources and today it is the only one that can offer oil-free atomizers for capacities up to 10 Ton/h with installed power of more than 100kW and speed from 7,000 to 60,000 rpm, making it the undisputed leader in this market technology.
It has more than 100 units in operation around the world, ranging from universities to large companies, providing exclusively designed oil free atomizers to meet the high-quality standards of hygienic-sanitary regulations (HACCP and FDA) to be used in food applications, flavoring, dairy and pharmaceutical industries or to produce high value powders where any risk of oil contamination in the product must be avoided.
